On Thursday 25 May, a group of property professionals will hike Mam Tor in the Peak District to raise funds for Huntington’s Disease.

Do It For Dom is named in honour of Dom Subbiani, who was diagnosed with Huntington’s in 2017. In response, his friends Suzanna Mavity (Sales Director at Acaboom) and Graham Wilson (Chairman of Fine & Country) rallied their contacts in the property industry for a charity hike up Snowdon that raised £70,000. After that success, they threw an even bigger event in 2018, bringing together over 100 people and raising £80,000.

This year’s event is the first since before the COVID-19 pandemic, and the organisers are hoping to swing back into action by raising at least £50,000 for charity, bringing the event’s lifetime total to over £250,000.

As well as a professionally guided hike up Mam Tor, this year’s event will include a BBQ dinner, evening entertainment, a charity auction and a couple of pub stops.

You can sign up through the Do It For Dom website for a deposit of £150. All participants are also expected to raise at least £300.

You can also support any of the agents taking part by donating to their fundraising campaigns on JustGiving.
