After spearheading the launch and growth of PayProp United States, Louw Liebenberg has been appointed as the CEO of PayProp in North America, overseeing PayProp’s operations in both the US and Canada.

Louw is a licensed Florida real estate broker, a Master Practitioner of Real Estate in South Africa and is also certified to manage short and long-term deposits by South Africa’s Financial Services Board.

His career at PayProp started out almost 10 years ago when he was appointed as CEO of Sales and Marketing in 2011, before leading PayProp South Africa from 2012 to 2019. In this role, Louw was responsible for managing South Africa’s largest processor of rental transactions, and also launched a deposit management advisory firm.

After completing his MBA at the University of Cape Town, Louw worked for multinational beverage company Distell managing their global ready-to-drink products business, overseeing well-known South African drinks brands like Savanna as well as launching new products into the market. He then spent two years with the Spur Group as the Chief Operating Officer of the Panarottis restaurant chain before joining PayProp.
